Forget Society

Society is completely and utterly overrated.

Society is not as beneficial as the world makes it seem. It is an institution that encourages differences among others, but does not accept them. In society, the people at the top make all the rules of the game and you have to follow them or you become exiled in the society.

Honestly, society is beneficial to those who run it and not to those in it. The media is a gigantic part of society, influencing the people and how the act or respond to a certain thing.

As a growing teenager, I personally know how hard it is to fit in or be accepted in society. I am not a product to be labeled in society. But, why do we strive to fit into a place that won’t accept us the way we are?

Adam Smith once said, “No society can surely be flourishing and happy, of which the far greater part of the members are poor and miserable.”

Society is an ugly part of life, we shouldn’t be a part of, however it’s as inevitable as life. There’s not much we can do to change the mind of the world, when it’s mind has been set for years. Forget society and all of its stupid rules.

Sweetie, just throw up your middle fingers and give society a big FU. Do what makes you happy and what makes you, you. Go and shine out there in the world.

And if society condemns you?

Oh, well. Keep doing you, boo.

forgetting society and its irrelevancies,

Queen JoJo ❤

Right on. There’s a lot of money being made by getting you to think and act the way “they” want you to. George carlin has a great skit on this, basically says society doesn’t want free thinkers, artists, creative people, people who question whats going on, they want workers! Gotta keep the machine rolling baby.
